The platform covers 24.000 sqm and the research results demonstrate the most suitable plantations which are greek endemic herb species

– Subcontracting tasks realated to biodiversity research on “Lake Karla Restoration” Project Thessalia, Magnesia, Greece under European Regional Development Fund for the 2007 to 2013 programming period.

“Lake Karla Restoration Project” implemented by sourcing water from a nearby river, hydrology works, building a museum and holding information days feature among the diverse tasks to be undertaken in the project.

AgroIT implemented an open platform based on open standards. Project delivered applications and services to various stakeholders: farmers, local communities, state institutions, consulting institutions in farming (government founded and private) and EU institutions.

The main goal of the DataBio project is to show the benefits of Big Data technologies in the raw material production from agriculture, forestry and fishery/aquaculture for the bioeconomy industry to produce food, energy and biomaterials responsibly and sustainably.
